As the Executive Director and a non-executive board member of Sediba Hope Medical Centre (SHMC), he holds a Master’s degree in Medical Law and is an Advanced Health Manager. His 20+ year career spans clinical medicine, corporate social investment, and private practice, uniquely equipping him to lead SHMC’s mission of providing comprehensive care to key populations. His expertise is rooted in transforming healthcare delivery through innovative public-private partnerships, strategic program design, and rigorous policy development. He has served as a Principal Investigator on numerous projects and is a recognized leader in HIV management and health system strengthening. He is passionate about improving health access and sustainability, and his dedication is reflected in his active participation as a facilitator and peer reviewer across the public health sector.

In HR, he manages strategic recruitment, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, and payroll. As Operational Manager, he ensures the seamless, efficient, and cost-effective daily running of SHMC's facilities and services, overseeing resource allocation, optimizing workflows, and maintaining vital infrastructure for high-quality patient care and research.

      Clinical and Research Director at Sediba Hope Medical Centre. With over a decade of extensive experience in public health, she brings a unique blend of clinical and research expertise, policy development acumen, and program management leadership, focusing particularly on underserved and marginalized populations. She holds a Master of Public Health and is proficient in statistical analysis and geospatial mapping, with professional training in Global Health, Advanced Health Management, and HIV management. With a robust track record as a Principal Investigator and Technical Lead, skillfully conceiving, managing, and leading complex projects and process evaluations for key populations. Her expertise extends to ensuring strict adherence to guidelines, rigorous monitoring and evaluation, and providing quality improvement advice for donor-funded and public-private partnership programs, a proficiency reinforced by her role as a Quality Improvement Consultant. As a non-executive board member of SHMC, she contributes invaluable experience to organizational governance. Passionate about promoting healthcare access, optimizing HIV and opportunistic disease management, and advocating for health system strengthening through innovative models and implementation research, Dr. Saayman is also an active contributor to the broader public health community, serving as a facilitator, peer reviewer, and frequent conference presenter. Her advanced project management skills for donor-funded programs and extensive collaborations with diverse stakeholders solidify her standing as a leader in transforming healthcare delivery.
